06 THalls v.s. AR5's

What is the difference between the 05/06 THalls (the white ones) and the 05/06 AR5's? I'll be riding 170's. Is one stiffer than the other?

i THINK well pretty sure the t halls are alot less stiff. i could be wrong but i dont think so.

i have the t halls...same dimensions as ar5 but much softer and the edges are rounded underfoot

t-halls = park specific softerand have rounded edges underfoot

ar5 = park/ all mountain stiffer then the t-hall

Is the T Hall still pretty stable on big jumps?

i think the ar5's are a bit more all mountain....i would go witht hem if i were you

i have AR5's but ive ridden both. if your looking for all mountain then def go with the AR5's

Well I said 95% park. But want something that will work outside the park too. How do the T HAll's handle big jumps? Stable?

Nah I weigh 145lbs, and pretty much ski only park and just do all mountain for a break every once in a while. i think I'll go with the T Halls. Plus I hate the madsteeze graphics on the AR5's.

Stop telling people that Ar5s are just ok out of the park. They are great out of the park, they dont chatter at high speeds, okay through bumps,and hold a great edge.

As do I. But we are judging park skis here, and the Ar5 compared to most other park skis are great all mtn.

the ar5s arent considerent an all mountain twin though. they are a mid flex park ski. just because they arent a noodle doesnt mean they cant be considered a park ski. i havent used a pair though so i cant comment on that
