06 salomon foils

ya i had two pairs of them the 05-06 and the 06-07s... they are a all round good ski they float good in freshee s they can throw down on rails and charge jumps... they have a medium flex with a lot of pop...
 
i had the05/06 ones and they were asome..... but i had them mounted abitbak..... so it was a really fun all mtn ski.........but they do have tons of pop.......and ya....... super fun!!!!!

but now its time to ride the09 dumonts:D:D:D:D:D
 
what year ? and what for ? My friend owns 2007 foils. 2007 and earlier - http://www.evogear.com/outlet/skis/salomon-teneighty-foil-2007.aspx was a foam core(isocell) and a VERSATILE all mtn pipe and park ski that had some chatter on ice or hardpack so it favoured snow + pow. I think the next year Salomon put in a wood core and dampened it. Mike Douglas helped develop it and skied it and had it in his home in Whistler. It is a mid fat - 124/85/114 @ 174cm giving it good float with a narrow waist for quick pivot. Hi speed baseUHMW ultra hi molecular weight .... good all around. Don't smash it to death in the park. So if you want a park or pipe tank maybe something else would be better.....They even made a ladies foil in 2007-2008 with a dif name. Salomon has moved to 1) wood core, 2)sidewall vs cap and 3)armoured edges (tied together?) so there has been considerable improvement. hope that helps.
 
I got the 07's last year and love em. They're nice a lite but still stiff. An awesome all mountain ski.

- I ride east coast and all mountain, and use to race. There was some chatter but it wasn't as bad as there could be.

If you can get em cheap do it, they're worth it.
 
thanks that helps i bought them off craigslist for 200 buck with mounted binding and i didn't no anything about them so i wasn't real sure if it was a good deal
