06 invaders VS. STL's

well if your skiing only park i would say invadors because they are perfectly centered and 116-76-116, so its basicly the ultimate park ski spec. wise. I've never acctually ridden them tho, or the stls

i skied that STLs all this season. they win for park. ^ i think 76 underfoot is a lil skinny, even for a park ski. and the STLs have the progressive dimensions. as you get bigger, the ski is the same, proportionally.

i do agree that 76 is really small underfoot. I ride this years mike nicks that are 86 under the foot and i almost feel like bigger would just feel better. The invadors were made souly for park tho, so i dunno, demo day anyone?

your all wrong invaders are 112-84-112, and the 147 stls are really skinny they are 93-68-88 i think, but the others are wider

^^^^^^^^^^yeah those dimensions sound a little more believable, the ole 1260s had 76 underfoot, that is just to skinny.

 
The invaders are probably the most fun you can have on a ski. Soft and buttery fo'sh.

nothing will ever touch the original 1260s, those badjacksons were tight, i got mine from the year with the orage dj, same ski design as the original year but dif graphics, not only are these skis center mounted, but the are completely constucted the same, you could mount the bindings backwards and it wouldnt make a dif. in addition they had sidewall constuction and are pretty much the LIGHTEST freestyle ski for thier lenght, 164, the flex is so soft it down right rediculas

invaders with p12s would be a dope setup. definitley centremount them too because of the even tip and tail.

Switchstyle, the longer invaders are stiffer as they are designed for taller heavier riders, im certain you would have no problems landing stuff backseat on them - which seems to be a common complaint with people who are thinking about softer skis.

its gonna be a 7 hour trip back home from my school but i think it will be worth it..save save

 
Carmada.... will you stop making soo many posts about STLs and Invaders. its getting annoying. they are all the same thing, just worded differently. and its a way for otehr people to decide what whats you get isn't it. You wanna know whats better, without being one of those "Which is better" kids.
