06 Fujatives - the right size?

I just bought a pair of 06 fujatives...online cheap (200).. and now I need to mount them. I am 510...190...and have been trying to get my weight down to a lean 185 for the season.

My questions are:

Do you think I went to small with the ski

What will that do to my landings, take off and jib

What bindings will keep my fat ass in those small planks...

- side info

just bought last years Salomon foil boots

i can pull a 360 but no real park experience

169 is way too small for you, epsecially with fujatives since they incredibly soft, you should be on at least a 180 for park.

Yeah man you should have got a bigger ski, at 5'10" you wont look overly gay but your not a light guy either so you should be looking for the 180 range.

im 6'2" 170lbs and ski a 179cm fujative, and i notice that the tails are way too soft for big landings. You'll find that you can over power this ski too easily, youll have a hell of a time buttering though.

then you cant be that good or a gaper. cuz no decent skiier would ski something that short when they weight that much. im 5'10 145 and on 05/06 srcatch Fs, and i would rather of have gotten a 181. but alas...

plain and simple, the 169 is way to short for you. your best bet would be the PE's in a 179

no, but how good you are has to do with wat size skis u have (as well as ur weight and height). u shouldnt be on 160s if your a pro (unless your 11). but u shouldnt be on 180s if you weigh 125 and are 5' 4"

get it? trust me, these skis are to short for this guy.

no, the fujis are only too small for him because he ways 190 pounds, if he weighed 135, they would be ok, not great, but at 5'10, he could pull of 169's but not if he's 190 pounds cuz face it, we all know that fujis are noodles

So they are too small....the deal is done....what is gonna happen to me.....the most i throw is a 540.....alley oops in the pipe.....and rails.....will it that make that much of a difference if im not hitting 30 foot gaps......the k2 sizing chart has my weight between 174-184----5cms gonna make a difference.....love the responses

its not just the size, its that fujatives are flimsy noodles, when you land a bit back seat on a 360, your skis willwash out and you will fall.

if you were on 172 madtrix youd notice the difference right away.

I think youlle be fine if your not doing anything over 30ft. Just mount them +5 so you have some extra tail for landing.
