06 - 07 PICTURE THREAD

yeah the landing is sketch..its like kinda steep and it looks like when u land ur not facing down the hill at a good angle

the landings pretty flat actually when you hit the point, and the angle is also crooked so you almost landing sideslope.

You have to go off the large part if you want to survive, and even then, the takeoff is steeper than the landing. Landing on icy sidehill has claimed a lot of broken legs off that rock. I really dislike that thing, there are so many better drops with better landings.

Doing a 3 off a natural pillow below Tye Rock. I leveled it off and stomped in a sketchy inrun, but the light was fading quickly. We were going for a video, but it somehow ended up being a picture. Not bad for an accident, pity about the exposure...

The ride, prior to the accident on the way down. It looks pissed because it got left alone in great drifting conditions all day. Thankfully, it got to take it out on some Mexi-ricers Integra on 203.

Small video of Tye rock, 7th Heaven and a small cliff on the ridge thats on the left going up Hogsback.

Such a sick day. I keep thinking about it. First lap around stevens was insane snow was light and deep. 1) Run down 7th stayed skiers left and killed it. 2) Down skiers left of carona then huck off cat track to un touched! 3) Chief bowl lower enterance to wind lip and ended up skiing lower chief trails. 4)After that four differn't sick lines down winnie chutes and one snake line on top of the pipe = Epic Stevens Pow Day!!

Sounds sick dude, but I think I'm out till Monday with my shins the way they are. Sorry the last picture didn't work, lets try that again:

Woo, waterfall! Such a huge wedge...

And on another note, please be fucking careful out there. I saw no less than 3 people come down in sleds from the park today. Watch out for gapers, tis the season.

I saw 2 on Saturday from the park. I actually almost saw one of those mountain safety guys get hit in the landing on the last jump at the bottom right under the brooks chair. Him and the boarder then got into it and the kid yelled "You almost got landed on you fuckin tard" and the guy was yelling back.

Ive been seeing a ton of people in there rolling over damn jumps or even rolling up to it, basically come to a complete STOP and then then try a SPIN. Yeah, seriously I just shook my head as I saw it over and over. I saw a number of kids flying off the sides of features and cutting people off. Even saw a grandma coasting through the park taking huge wide turns and stopping in front of each feature. I was in disbelief.

its not even just the gapers that should be on brennans trail or on daisy, its the damn families that bring their fucking kids down through all parts of the park as though it was just an enhanced groomer. Some kid was nearly decapitated Saturday because he was in a place he clearly should not have been. Ignorace aint bliss in a park.

Not to menion I saw some ski school instuctor bring her whole group of kids, probably around 10 years old, over the waterfall, doing nice wedge turns down the landings, and through the pipe. It gets me so angry, because just one incident can mess up somebody's (or many peoples') lives in an instant, because people cannot or do not observe or learn where they are and its purpose.

just land next to or onone of her students, and when she gets mad at you tell her that you could not see them becuase they were in a blind spot that is ment of landing not wedge turns. Tell her the landing is for french fry's not pizza
