Currently I have the Giro 9 MX Audio, but I have outgrown it and am now looking for a new helmet. First, I would really like the audio capabilities to be built in, but will make acceptions if everything else is good about the helmet. Originally I was thinking the Bern, but when I found out that so was the majority of the freeskiing community I have since sort of decided no. I like the stuff that giro has coming out like the Encore or maybe the G10 Mx. I also looked at the B2 Snow Helmet Protect has out, or the RED Hi-Fi and Hi-Fi Audio. I will be trying each of them on and such, but that aside which do you guys like.

i actually like the encore the best out of all of thoes and im looking to buy it but i have no expreience with it

i currently own the RED hifi Audio and I think it's awesome

the audio aspect is great since it has a little mute button on the side you can hit on/off whenever and the sound is good too.

the helmet itself is great too, it fits me very well and is very comfortable

i once had the Giro audio helmet and it doesn't even compare to RED helmets in terms of fitting and audio quality......so go for RED hifi audio or just get the RED hifi in a diff. color and get seperate ear pads.
 
I'd say Try to find another 9 if you don't want to spend a lot of money and then you don't have to pay for new tuneups.
 
the encore is a pretty good helmet, although it is very heavy, it gives great protection, im sure i would be dead or in the hospital for a good ammount of time if i hadnt had it, i fell around 40 or 50 feet straight to my had and skied out of it with a concussion, it was still the worse concussion ive had but i bet without it i would have been in a much worse position
 
personally i think the g10mx is the most steezin helmet by far.... looks great...light as a feather... and fits me perfectly with tons of padded... love it to death and im def. going to get me one... not to sure on the audio... but overall its a good helmet
 
I want the red hi-fi audio so bad. My giro 9 is alright, but my buddies who have the hi-fi rub it in my face all the time.

 
The encore is super heavy and HIGH profile. I feel like I have a literal circular bubble on my head when I tried it on.

HiFi is pretty dope, espically if you can get goggles that fit perfectly.

Personally, I have the G10MX, and it's one of the dope's I've owned.

Boeri actually looks pretty legit for next season too. Dope solid colors.
 
I tried on the Bern today, I don't like the way it sits ontop of my head and not really around my head, it is also wider then I thought it was...
 
no the berns sick. i got one in white and ya id maybe like a few vents, but suprisingly you stay pretty cool in it.

i like the protec with the white and green. looks sick
