06-07 Fischer Addicts / Look PX-12 Jib question.

My 172 (I think) 06-07 Fischer Addicts (The white top) have been having some problems holding the binding. My backs have been ripping out. I have look px-12 jib bindings. Has anyone else had this problem, if so how'd you fix it.

wait... your heel is coming out of the binding or your heel piece is coming out of the ski? i have the same set up and never had any problems ever

It's my heel piece. It ripped out twice on my left ski and once on my right.

how much do you weigh and what is your din set at

Uh 195. And for 6 or 7. It was set by my local shop, so it should be correct?

So you're saying the binding keeps ripping out of the ski? Do you get new skis every time? Heli coil?

The first time they ripped out was last year and I guess they were able to just put them back in. I was slipping out of the back piece (the piece was still on the ski and the binding was still in locked position), and it was because the holes became oval. So this time they redrilled the holes, and supposably put goriilla glue on the screws which i should "never the heel outta the ski". But the bindings ripped right out and there apparently was no glue, or so it seemed.

Sounds like you either have a bad shop, or a bad pair of skis.

i have the same esact setup and have had no problems. so i would think about contacting fischer or talking to your shop.

Alright. Apparently they are using a helicolis and a hard set epoxy. So hopefully it'll stay in this time. Thanks guys.

sounds like you might need a new shop. you should never re-mount a pair of bindings in the same holes.

and if it happened 3 times, theres a good chance their using a drill bit thats too big for the screws.

Ah, the bit thing might be true. And I'm not sure if they're redrilling this time.
