If I had the $ i'd buy those for sure, but sadly this year is to be spent on clothing,goggles, touques,gloves etc.(it switches off every year) Mayby next year:(
 
thats really sick. its hard to tell it comes from that on the skis though but i really like that drawing... along with all of his..
 
Armada lacks in creativity so they have to go hire some shitty artist to do all their graphics, then they call themselves "artsy." thats lame. the fake artsy vibe is lame.

anthony is "artsy" or whatever you want to call it, because he actually does his own shit. he doens't go buy someone elses and then pawn it off as his own.
 
i really like that people are getting creative but i think this graphic and some others for armada are too cluttered and over thought, its nice to see that stuff is getting unique and "artsy" but i think this is pushing it. along with a few of the ar6's. i know it takes time and thought and i give them props but sometimes being simple is more unique then that
 
i would love some of madsteezes drawings to be posters in my room cause some are pretty sick but I cant really find any and when i do they are mad expensive
 
i agree with u. madsteez is very creative just cause armada hired him doesnt mean armada isnt creative. what would u rather have a bunch of guys who know nothing about art make some lame ass design to save a buck.. ie. salomon ect.
 
no, have you seen the pipe cleaners. There one of the simplest ski's i have ever seen. Thats why i like em. The jp's dont have to much going on either.

The ANT's are sweet tho
 
I liked the idea of tony's promodel being tony's top sheet...

last year's graphics were so simple, but they were so sick, simply because you know he wasn't just like "yeah, that's look fine, it'll do" to the people in charge...
 
i think he(madsteeze) takes designs from other things that hes done cause on his website if you go to it you see like the same pics that were on the skis and some of them look like the same thing bu different body shapes.

just thought id put that out there
 
yea there just going wuth a different direction, look at some of there older stuff. The 04/05 ar5 and earlyer were simple yet aswome
 
and armada didn't hire this guy. they bought a bunch of cheap paintings that madsteez didn't want anymore to put on their skis and played it off as some awesome artist collaboration.
 
You're right, its not a contest. But you said he was a shitty artist. Just because you don't like his style doesn't mean he's a shitty artist. A shitty artist would change his style to please other people instead of himself.
