i was thinking about geting the 04/05 1080's i will mainly be riding park but also some all-mountain skiing

does anyone have any advice about these skis ao about other good skis
 
before you get the newschoolers hater response, good judge the ski out for yourself, if you like it buy it... i asked similiar questions and they just hated on the skis. Judge for urself
 
also i'm 5'8 and 125 pounds and currently riding 149 scratch pro do you think I should continue using these or are they too small
 
if you can afford it, yeah i would say you could use some new boards, um ur really maxing out the length w/ ur scatches.
 
u need to buy the scratch fs or the trouble maker. at ur size, those skis will handle everything and do it nicely. dont settle for the ten80 unless ur doin a lot more park than ne thing else.
 
Thursters are not the same ski as the 04 1080. They are way more poppier in the tail.

It's a fun ski.

Great package with a S810ti.

I think is the best park ski out there.
 
04/05 1080s are a sick ski but I wouldn't suggest it if you are doing only park. Spaceframe technology gives the ski a lot of energy out of each turn (like a race ski). It is better suited if you are doing a mix of park and freeride. As for length, i'd go between a 160 and a 170.
