i just took my 2002 scratch fs to the shop and the guy said my bindings were broken from too much switch riding or sumthing like that. i can get 05 public enemys or 05 frnt mps for like 400 w/bindings. my scratches now are 174 cm, and the two options are both around 180 cm . should i pay 200 for new bindings or 400 for new longer skis and new bindings? im 6ft 2in

those aren't very good skis to compare. maybe 4front and armada but not p.e's.

4frnt is like line... core company, just starting out. draw your own conclusions from that phrase.

if they are the same price why go with they shitty company? go with 4frnts if you like a slightly less durable, much flexier ski...but i wouldnt trust them. k2 is solid all around.

nick you should go with the pe's, i dont really know but it sounds like the pe's are better for the stuff thats here in the east

Line dind't make the first twin, I don't think Salomon did either... In fact I don't know who did. But Line was definately there since the beginning and I think they made the first 'true' twin.

nick who knows how those bindings broke but your skis were pretty beat, anyways the PE's are all mounted up ready to go with the power 140's on them i think you got a pretty sweet deal too. an you should enjoy them as much as the scratch FS that you had if not a ton more...

As it has been said, the MSP will rip ALMOST everywhere. If you aren't in the backcountry much, the MSP's width and sidecut are going to be a little unnecessary. The PE's are the better of the two if it sounds like you are going to be on groomers and park. I live in Ohio and there is a kid at my hill who has the new MSP's and everytime I see him I just wonder what he was thinking when he bought them.
