05 Eric Pollard, 05 Moship Titanium, or 06 Moship Flite

I've been really hoping to get the elizabeth's but since I can't trust the local shop guys to free hand the mounting, I'm not gonna go with the elizabeths. Which has me left for 05 Eric pollard, 05 Moship Titanium, and 06 Moship Flite. I hate making decision cause I can't make up my mind and i'm not rich enough to buy them all haha. Now TALK!!!

is this for park, all mountain, etc? where do you ski?

Fatter is better, so I would go with one of the Moships.

If you think you'll end up skiing more park than big mountain take the Moship flites. If you think it is the opposite go with the Titaniums. Both are sick skis, flites will be much better in the Park. You could also just go with which ever one is cheaper. You should get the 182cm size as well.

or look at other skis, seth vicious, etc.

Right on, that's why I wanted the elizabeths!!!! Once you go fattie, you ain't coming back, haha. I demoed the eliza and they were freaken awesome, but I can't afford to get reactors and there is no one local that can mount them.

no one that can mount reactors, dude you can do it youself, from what i understand you just screw the for screws into the skis?

No, I'm not mounting reactors, I'm using looks and I can't trust local shop guys to free hand mount them. If I were to mount the reactors, than there wouldn't be a problem. Its just that I don't have another 250 to spend on bindings.

"I can't trust local shop guys to free hand mount them."

free hand mount? you mean they don;t have a Look binding jig?

it's a joke to mount a pair of bindings, as long as you have the right equipment.

Look doesn't make jigs that are over 100 mm. And the elizabeth's are 110 mm waist, meaning they have to free hand mount them since there aren't a jig available to mount them with.

Its not to hard to freehand mount them, just set the jig,pop the little springy handles off (yes everyone should break their jigs so the handles are removable) turn the shit upside down, mark through the holes with a pen, drill wherever there is a pen mark on the ski... any dumbass can do it.

^Unless you drill to far and go all the way through the ski.

But the ski shop should be able to handle mounting elizabeths. If they cant they shouldnt be a ski shop.

just pop the ski holders off the jig and clamp it to the ski...there ya go, no free mounting.

Mounting bindings isn't rocket science.

The internet is for slandering others anonymously.

Well is it easy to pop the ski holders off???

Also, if you have it popped off, how do they

know that it's lined up perfectly...??? I went

to the shop today and asked, and they said

they could do it but it'll take longer time to

do it. Anyhow, since they said they can do

it, imma get the elizabeths. They said the

biggest waist they've done is seth pistols...

haha

i ski on the mothership Ti and really enjoy them. I skied on the seth pistols (i thought they were to soft), B3 (didnt turn for shit), and i found that the motherships were the best out of them. I would go with the Ti over the carbon ones because of your weight, you will want a stiffer ski. otherwise get the pollards if you ski more park.

i woul;d get the moship ti man...i have ONY heard amazing responses from them

Right on, also if I were to mount the moship about +3 from the suggested mounting point, would that lower its skiing ability in pow???

^ it would have an effect, i would keep them right where they are at. if you want a more progressive mounted ski i wouldnt suggest doing it to a pow ski if you are going to be skiing deep snow

You won't drill through the ski unless you use the wrong bit, its the bit that stops itself from going through the ski, not the jig. Pretty much any ski is easy to freehand once you get the technique down, or modify a jig.
