05 06 Pistepipe vs PE, whats the diff?

As far as I know the Pistepipe and PE have the same dimensions next season. Anyone know, apart from the top sheet, what the difference is between these skis?

piste pipe is for tele and its a bit softer in the tip for tele turns all around the piste pipe is a bit softer than the pe and im pretty sure its only a couple mm smaller up front

^um, no. Idk where you got that but the dimensions are about the same, and my piste-pipes are definately not fatter in the middle than the tip and tail

yea, i think the way to go is fatter in the middle, so you can't carve. Maybe a 40-130-60, or something along those lines

the inserts for the Piste Pipe are for a G3 pattern tele binding. so you can put them in yourself and dont have to take them to a shop. and then also you can swap bindings out.

I met someone with piste pipes mounted with regular alpine bindings at winter park, and he said they were great. He said they were just a little bit softer, but that they were really good in the pipe. If you like Pe's but want to have a ski that not everybody has, get piste pipes.
