uhhhh dude?? They're not heavy at all......they're heavy to you because it's an actual ski with some freakin width rather than, for example, the 1080.

 
hah ya dick they arent heavy at all, either you are used to your line 1260s and youre a park rat or you a big fuckin puss

 
salomon has new Rockets out for next season, that have a swollow tail that goes in Tail >______> nose. kina pickett was riding them at Empire

 
^^ Why the hell would they do that to the Pocket Rocket, aren't they the Backcountry Freestyle ski?? I thought if anything they'd do that to their other freeride skis because wouldn't the whole > tail thing make it weird riding fakie?

yeah the Ak rockets have the swallom tail - if salomon were to improve on the PR they should make it stiffer. The electric blue is awesome and it should be kept!

They have three new 'freeride' skis coming out next season. The most unique surely is the Scream Burning Hot with the swallow tail. My favorite is the Scream Extra Hots, and it's little brother is the Scream Hot. They will be identified by how many 'chiles' they have right above the binding. Burning hot = 3, extra hot = 2, hot = 1. All skis are fully equiped with the pilot system and spaceframe technology. Extra hots are the hot ticket for me.....82mm underfoot is perfect for a combo groomed/light powder ski. They will be mine.

 
^^^^Yer right, it's just the AK rocket with the swallow tail and spaceframe being the upgrades. Dimensions are a little different too.
