i think the line graphics are sweet, and that would be a cool idea to stick them on craving type skis.

if you have ever heard Jason L's explanation, it makes perfect sense. not one person has mentioned it though. what he is doing is putting a twin tip name on an all mountain ski. after people like the ski,. he is hoping they will get a slightly twined ski, like the mavericks. this will get more people into our sport. he says it a whole lot better but that is pretty much exactly why he is doing it

that would be so sweet if it actually worked. but i think most old timers are too stuck up and traditional. but the new generation of family guy skiers might see it differently. i actually saw a middle aged dude with two kids on mavericks at killington last year, got me pretty stoked.

okay, I've been keeping up with this thread, and it's finally pushed me over the limit.

You guys have to think. LINE is a business. It has many people working for it (well, not too many, lol) and they have professional marketing guys, just like any other business. Don't you think they thought about this, before they did it? Do you THINK they originally wanted to leave their 'roots'? They did it because they thought it through, and thought it was the right thing to do. How ignorant of you guys to say the stuff you're saying. Do you think they're idiots? YOu think they don't know what they're doing? Do you think it's CHEAP for them to design and press many new pairs of skis? NO! They did it because they knew it would make them money, and they want to get into that market. Just think. i'd liek to see all you little fucks go start a hardcore ski company.

right on brody. Line definately has done a lot for our sport. they started the whole 'rider owned' thing for skiing. they are looking for ways to branch out and get more people to realize that skiing doesnt suck. think of it this way: some kid will get a pair of the Line carving skis. if he likes them, he will check out the site and realize 'wow, these guys throw down'. he might buy a pair of the Skogens when he grows out of his carving skis. he shows some of his friends the Line site and NS and stuff, and they go, 'Hey, skiing can be as cool as snowboarding' then he gets his mom to buy a pair of Line carving skis too, just b/c she cant feel the difference between them and anything else and it will support newschool

yeah kinda touching on what he said. think of it this way any money that line makes off these skis can only help our sport progress
