04-05 srth pistols vs. 04-05 pollards

Pollards, because of durability, and in my opinion, they are slightly more versatile.

At the same time, I'd be happy to just flip a coin for either one. You are talking about 2 of the top skis of last year.

It all depends on the type of skiing. The pollards are more narrow and better in park, while the pistols would be better for pow, if I had to choose one to ski all the time it would be the Pollards.

 
Haven't tried the pistols but I had two pairs of the pollards in question and I loved them. During a low snow year I used them 3 times as much as my motherships. If you ski in the east I think the pollards would be a bit better on the hardpack. I'm basing this on the few people I talked to skiing the pistols who didn't like them on hardpack.
