03 vs 05 1080 may work?

so do both the 03 and O4/05 Salomon 1080's have defects??? I am a light skier so I wouldn't imagine that I would trash the core or delaminate it but what do you think. I only weigh 135 or will the ski just suck no matta wat

Skied 1080's for 2 years before I got rid of them... they were still holding up pretty good, just needed new skis.

you shouldnt buy 1080s dude. they pretty much suck. support a real company like line

A real company? Are you kidding? They are all real. Salomon has done so much for skiing in general its just ignorant to say something like that. And to say they suck? Once again, thats an ignorant coment. If you have valuable information, post it.. however if you just want to spread nonsence, do that at recess.

Yes but they have done shit all for freeskiing. they support racing which most ppl on this site dont care about. If a company wanted to do well they'd start making some decent twin tips and powder twins with a decent waist

check it. i grew up a fuckin screw up, got introduced to the game, got a ounce, and fuckin blew up.
 
making the first twin tip i think was important, not to mention salomon is associated with so many ski movies. For example "X=10" was presented by salomon, basically most of the films are presented by salomon so i would think presenting a FREESYLE SKI FILM wouldn't be ingorant.

Anyhow back on the topic i know one rider who skis salomon no probs loves the ski, but im wondering if this is just from one rider so im trying to get multiple reviews and answers, Answer if you have OWNED OR SKIED the 03/ 04 or the 04/05 1080's.

Im kinda cerious to see why i see more pros riding salomon Olenick, Dumount, CR, Candide, Mike Douglas, Vincent, so just a few questions.
