yo i just got em' in the mail from salomon on monday and they are totally redone from last year, just wondering if anyone has ridden them and how they have changed outside of the pilot sytem changing over to accept the regular salomon bindings

The Crossmax line sucks ass. You'd be better off with some decent mid-mat twins or, if you want something for the groomed, some race-carve skis.

 
BamBam - shut the fuck up you moron!!! What do you mean the crossmax suck! Grow a dick buddy - the crossmax series rocks!! I have a pair of last years 180 crossmax and the only complaint i have is that the tail isn't flaired enough.

They ride like a dream.

I tried out a pair of my friends' and thought they were too soft (Crossmax 10 I think they were). They didn't hold an edge as well as others I've tried, and felt unstanble at speed (although that's probably because they were shorter than what I'm used to). And I don't think the Pilot system took away some of the responsiveness when they were pushed hard.

all ive ever used them for is skierX races and they kick ass for that

I love the Crossmax line. My shop told me that they are like last years model. They carve a bit different because of the new system on the ski. So if salomon made them better than the ones before it, they should be awesome skis. I am looking forward to getting mine this winter.
