As I posted in a thread a few days ago, the fed cut interest by half and half a percent and the Canadian dollar has been edging closer to breaking past the USD in value since. We're trading at $.9950 right now.

WHAT DO YOU THINK AMERIKAN TEENS?

Speaking of rush...

My friend sold four pairs of very tight, very expensive jeans to rush a few weeks ago and we have to go drop them off at their Toronto concert tomorrow night, in person.

Oh, and also the Canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar at this moment.

it sucks that everything there is still twice as expensive. it worked out when your money wasn't worth shit (or ours actually was), but now it's just overpriced

If the Canadian dollar is worth signifigantly more than the USD by the time I graduate in 2 years, there's almost no fucking way I'd stay in the US.

I mean, I'm turning more and more Canadian by the day...... I ate poutine for the 1st time at IF3, I've got Canadian 2 dollar coins spewed all over my apartment, I've been listening to the Tragically Hip like nobody's buisness...... and I acutally watched part of a hockey game the other day!

so now they have to make canadian shit cheaper, in know they are gonna try to sucker me when i go up there and be like "its 5 american...7 canadian" and ill be like "YAHHH BITCH YAHHH no it aint"

Yep, we hit parity just after the markets opened this morning and have been trading within 20 beeps all day.

okay i'm really confused. sooo if you traded in CA $1 you would get US $1 right? (because how are they going to give you .005 or whatever is currently is)

then why are products in Canadian stores more expensive???

Well it will probably boost the American economy due to value is more here..If that makes sense...meaning because the Canadian dollar is worth more, they will come here to buy stuff for cheaper

oh and this is just the begining, its not that the canadian dollar or euro is appreciating (going up) its that the dollar depreciating very rapidly...

and yes you might have more dollars the canada, but you will get fucked by hyperinflation. america is already the poorest country in the world.
