So it looks like I torn my MCL at hood on thursday morning. I'm not completely sure yet because I have an MRI on friday but yesterday the doctor did some tests and he believes it is the MCL. I did some research online and it appears that in most cases surgery is not necessary. Has anyone on here...

no i know, but i'm pretty sure that mold has the dip from fat to thin like the TM's did, and with that mold design, it would be hard to make something without a soft tip/tail

dudes, give it a chance! those TM molds are good shit, thats why they're using them. if i could pick one ski to mold after it would probably be the tm...one of the best flex patterns in my opinion...another company is good..especially when they are solely devoted to creating twin tip skis...

i dont know if indoor carpet would work that well. i feel like it would soak up the water too much but i guess it depends on how thick it is. im sure a very thin indoor carpet would work but i would reccomend astroturf or outdoor carpet. if you already have indoor though its worth a try, easy...

i had the same delima. i dont like sliding pvc, it makes switch ups and tricks harder and its doesnt feel as solid. i dont have a welder so i made this rail.same idea as a pvc one but i just bought a metal drill bit. and its sooo much better.

^yo my bad that was completely wrong. those were the measurements for my previous setup. i just went out and checked the whole thing is 27feet. it includes a 10ft rail, 9ft from the back off the drop in to the end of the ramp, and an 8ft transfer from the end of the ramp to the top of the jump.

its 15feet in total, 10ft rail, then 5ft from the back of the dropin to the end of the jump/beginning of the rail

for strictly pow skiing in big open bowls the 179s will be fine, however if you want to venture into the park or do anything technical i think it will be a little too much ski for someone your size. personally i would go with the 169s (remember they actually measure to be 172ish or something...
