I did some "big mountain" hiking today right outside of State College, PA at 11am October 17th!!. about 8-9 inches in the higher terrain got a few good turns in. anyone else ski yet this season in the state or am i the first??

ok.....so ive been doing star trail pics by just letting the shutter open for an X amount of time. I want to try it a different way by taking a series of 5 or so minute exposures then stack then using a program. I have seen stuff about Blank (black) layers when doing this method. do you need...

i hate to disagree with u b/c i dont know how you feel.. but the hurricane pressure is only 998mb as of the 8pm advisory....not that low of a pressure. a strong winter storm will have a barometric pressure much lower than that. im not sure a pressure change like that would affect someone that...
