put it in salt water and let it ferment (salt water DESTROYS electronics) then put it in the oven at about 120-130 degrees for an hour or three, and when its all dried out send it in and say it stopped working
Open it up, get a paper clip, lay it across the motherboard or something (earth yoself), turn it on, let it short, then remove the paper clip and put it together. Ta da! MY COMPUTER BROKED!!
on a more serious note, use water not something sticky and noticable
if they just see soda they might tell you your an idiot and not replace it
but if the water damage dot is kept dry and you claim ignorance they kinda have to replace it
good call. and just for good measure, dump water over it and claim you had a water bottle in your bag that burst open when you fell. impact and water damage in one believable package.
and also send in pictures of a torn up backpack and get pictures of people's scabs who fell on the road, and send them in and be like "this is from my accident, it was pretty severe as you can see"
yup, you could piss on your laptop in the dell headquaters(if you claimed it was an accident) and they would give you a new one. doesn't matter. glass of coke next to it, or better yet, 2 liter spilled on it. problem solved.
and then tell the nice people at dell you were tring to get to chads gap from the bottom of alta and you took a wrong turn and it fell. they should understand
sorry, didn't realize that was a claim...i was just explaining why i knew what the PBR was, it's not hard to get into rodeos or anything, you just show up and sign some waivers etc.
i have to admit that was a pretty random comment by me though, i was a bit drunk the other night haha
I realize the purpose of this but does anyone know if this will fuck up your lcd screen at all (seeing as the screen on a closed laptop rests right on the parts that are overheating)?
i have a friend who broke her phone and she had the full waranty except water damage but she didnt know that so she licked that dot and her warranty was voided
it was so funny when she was told she had to pay for a new phone
