The blend is a completely different ski this year than it was last year. last year's blend was 90 in the waist versus the chronic being 85 in the waist. Aside from this, their sidecuts were very similar. Ive also heard that they flex very similarly, with the blend maybe being slightly stiffer...

I just heard that you still needed some kind of pad/plate thing so that the slide on the binding heel piece would still work (from my searchbar investigations). not sure if this is true or not though. and is there a noticeable difference in weight between the 07s and the 08s?
