    Karma vs. Tweak

^ Do you really know what you're talking about with regards to the Tweak? The Karma's are wicked skis. I love my tweaks but if money is not an issue then go for the Karma's. Although, I'd save the 200$ and get the tweaks. The tweaks are a solid ski, despite what buddy above me thinks, the...

    No pipes at RCR

That's a dumb thing to say. They can make a great pipe if they want to. They own a bloody pipe dragon. They're just not willing to put out the money to have a cat groom it every night. The rumor has some pretty good sources apparently. They'll realize how many young locals convince their...

    Jobs

Alright... Working at one of the hills is good in some ways: Free pass and cheap staff accomodation... you make minimum wage though, 7$/hr. Whether you'd chose Lake Louise or Sunshine depends on what kind of skiing you want to do and how close you want to be to Banff. For a job that pays...

Ski Size question answering time (figured I should)

Good post. Skill is one thing but there are alot of skilled skiers that don't ski hard. How hard and how fast you charge make a big difference. If you do charge harder and ski faster then you're putting alot more force into your skis and are going to want to go for a longer or skiffer ski...

    Vancouver Theory-3/Poorboyz premiere (reminder)

    Tweaks or ar5s

What nomen said... The tweaks are great but might be a bit too stiff to be great in the park. They are good in the park but it's a bit more effort to flex the tweaks then it is to flex the Ar5's... for that same reason though, the tweaks are better all mountain. Very underrated ski.

    St. James's Gate

There aren't really any good Irish bars in Banff, then again I've never been to a real Irish pub. The only ones that would be close to it are... St. James Pump and Tap (British) Rose & Crown (British) Tommys (British)

    St. James's Gate

I went to it a couple times shortly, older crowd... never went back again. Plus everytime I walked by it, it looked like an older crowd in there. I never saw any good specials either... probably another reason I never gave it much of a look past 5 mins.

    Mark Abma

Whether his section was different than his section in X or not doesn't matter. The point that they are making is that he's an amazing ALL AROUND skier. That's what being a true skier is all about. The fact that you're saying his section isn't like his section in X (whether or not it is I don't...

    Mark Abma

I just picked up the October issue of Freeskier. So far so good but I what excited me the most was to see a profile on Mark Abma. The guy is a great skier and after reading the article, I respect him even more. He's also from Langley, BC, my hometown and for all of those reasons I'll buy any...
