I just picked up the October issue of Freeskier.

So far so good but I what excited me the most was to see a profile on Mark Abma. The guy is a great skier and after reading the article, I respect him even more.

He's also from Langley, BC, my hometown and for all of those reasons I'll buy any movie he's in.

For some reason I just felt the need to create one of these pointless 'props' threads for Mark.

Kudos to Mark for all of the hard work that has gotten him to a place we all wish we were, the top of the skiing world.

his section in war was pretty weak, i was disappointed, maybe it will be better in hitlist (pff yeah right, stupid msp)

if ur just sayin it was weak because it was mostly BC pillow lines and shit then you are gay you HAVE to realise that skiing is SOOOOOOOOO much more than just jibs and Abma is one of the absolute best skiers in the world to this date so ya...take that.

^YES keegan. You said it. Skiing is everything, not just being a ghetto fag in the park. If you call yourself a skier you have to do everything. Skiing involves being able to SKI not just jumping and rails.

 
you cant say his section was anything like his in X, his section was sooo sick, this section lived up to like 1/8 of that

Whether his section was different than his section in X or not doesn't matter. The point that they are making is that he's an amazing ALL AROUND skier. That's what being a true skier is all about. The fact that you're saying his section isn't like his section in X (whether or not it is I don't know) makes him that much better because he has the ability to do it all at such a high level.
