do they skitter real bad on the ice or is it just the usual troubles on ice? I am a big guys so I am not too worried about the width cause i can usually power through anything...

I skied on Salomon Gun's for the season last year and they were nice for anything i came into contact with. If you want something skinier there are the foil's... my buddy skis line's and loves them. he has prophet 100's after breaking his cronic wides

Wondering what everyone thinks about the Volkl Gotama as a good Fat all mtn ski??? Let me know if you have ridden them before becuase i am thinking of replacing my Salomon Gun's with them.
