I know Avid DV Express has a much better color corrector than Final Cut Pro. You should probaly ask this on a Avid forum to be sure.

I think the racers could move where the lower mogul field was. They're not really an issue. The combo camp sounds good because of the limited space up there on the flats, and there's only one good lane for snow-depth. We'll see, either way next year will be bigger and better for both camps...
