Yeah there is alternatives to p-text, the main problem with gashes, maybe the only problem is the lip or ridge around the gash that digs into the snow, take some sandpaper and smooth those ridges out so they dont interfere with your turns, the actualy pits in the base do little to effect turning...

Damn, ski tickets r getting hella expensive, I mean, vail and some of those mountains have nearly 70 dollar a day passes!! Something has to be done about those rich old fuckers that keep driving op the ski prices. Or ski bums will have to become just plain bums.
