anyone embaraced to try a new trick..

Astomp has a point. If you think you're going to eat shit you probably will. Even though you're trying a new trick you still try to imagine yourself landing it. Otherwise what's the point?

    painting skis

I'm thinking you're going to need some kind of airbrush to get a gradient affect. Remember to put some primer on that shit before you start painting though.

a ride up the lift with ski patrol

A lot of ski patrollers are freaking idiots though. They like to use the power just because they have it. My buddies almost got their passes pulled at Brighton because they accidentally strayed off onto a side run that wasn't lit up during night skiing.

    Motherfucking pathetic

I think locals try to be cool and think they own the mountain and shit by hating on tourists. I know this attitude is all over here in Tahoe with the 'go back to the bay' stickers and shit. It's pretty damn stupid and you only have to deal with the tourists on weekends and holidays so quit...

    Lib Tech Skis?

It'd be awesome if libtech made skis. They're construction techniques are pretty innovative and they're constantly trying out new ideas - like the jagged edge deal.

    Telemarking... fill me in!

DO NOT get the T2's. They are too soft and mind as well go with leather boots if you're going to get T2's. T1's or stiffer. Cable bindings don't break when you jib like someone above said. Most likely the person riding them had the preload way to high and kept bottoming the springs out...

    Telemarking... fill me in!

sorry..forgot to mention cost. Boots are about $300-400 and bindings are about $130-$180. This shit is expensive.

    Telemarking... fill me in!

Okay those guys don't know what they're talking about. I love how people just say stuff without having a clue. Here's what to get: Scarpa T1's or T-Races or any boot that is comparable. The only other boot companies out there are Garmont and Crispi (not Crispo). And there are more than 2...

    longer pow skis

at least the guy wants a longer ski. Not like some those out there riding 160's and being 6' tall and what not. if you think the guys at the 'forefront' of skiing have given up the 190's because they've done all they can do with them...then that's stupid. You think 10cm really puts a limit on...
