because without metal you are putting the bend into the core and weakening it substantially, rather than bending a core that is bonded to a metal layer that helps to keep the camber and maintains some durability. Nevermind that a rockered 179 Bro would ski short as hell.

how are you planning on putting a rocker on a pair of skis with no metal in them?
