Well since Big Sky or Bozmen dont have very much snow at all, you might be in troble if you are looking for a park. Red Lodge, MT which is only like 4 hour away has more snow and their park opened last weekend, and it is pretty good.

I also think that as far as the fasion goes snowboarding has influenced freeride skiing alot. You dont really ever see a freerider in racer clothes. I just wrote a compare and constrast essay on Freeride skiing and snowboarding if you want to see it just let me know.

I would definitly rather be on the tight wearing skier side, than look like a loser on a snowboard. Even if skier dont wear 'the coolest clothes' they have to be cooler than nuckle-draggers.

A helment may not be the coolest looking thing on earth, we all know that, but dying is cool at all either. I personally think a looking stupid with a helmet on is better than lying in a coffin, and never being able to ski agian. This is all what I think, so you dont have to take my oppionon.
