i would just go with a d80 but its way toned down features wise. so maybe ill wait a while like your saying and go for a d90 and if it doesnt drop too much i think its just d200. im just trying to stay cheap and d90 is just putting more money into it.

haha i have to say i went and tried the d40 and i immediately put it back down. i just thought it was soo badd. and the d700 is a little much for me to be spending on a second camera .

yeah so i guess def going with d200 i was also thinking d80 just for a cheap solution to save money but i def dont think that will work for me and the d200 is set up the same as the d300.

hey guys so i have the Nikon d300 now and im looking to buy a backup camera so D200 or D90. i can get the d200 for about $750 and a d90 for about $975. Im not sure if i care too much for the video on the d90. Express you opinions guys, thanks NS.
