The P12 was and is still a good binding. The turntable heal helped with sideways landings and releasing better, but in reality, it wasn't a huge difference over the newer PX Series. Just get a good Look/Rossi/Salomon binding. Pretty much any of those would be fine.

My new AR6's came in yesterday. My bindings for them (px12 jibs) should be here friday. I just got paid yesterday, and to top it all off, its DUMPING here in Mammoth!!! Now if only I didn't have to wake up at ass crack dawn to go to work....

What sort of skis have you liked in the past? With your weight, the 176 AR6 should be really good for you.

Scratch FS, especially if you like a mid-stiff flex. That just about hits the nail on the head when you're talking about the Scratches. The AR6 is a fun ski, and it's in my quiver, but it's a bit more traditional soft park ski flex.

Anyone use this combo? How's the fit? Looking at purchasing both and want to make sure they fit together.

You could either go with a huge (105+ waist) fat ski, or a park ski. Personally, the scratch BC's are nice, but I find them a bit heavy in the park. Save 'em for the pow and all mountain and get some new light park sticks.
