    you shouldn't NOT do something just because it has turned 'mainstream' .Do it because that's what interests you. Skiing is a good time, so is snowboarding. I've been skiing my whole life, but i don't know which i would start up with if i had never done either before.

    whoever said the glades in the east compare with those in the west is very very wrong. i ski in maine, not by choice but thats where i live..but ive traveled many times to the west...much more snow, much better glades, much better parks..but that's not to say the east doesnt have solid parks...

    Anybody know anything bout water ramping in lake placid?

    I've ramped in Placid for like 4 years now...if you want to train with camps, there are a bunch there all the time. One website is freestyleamerica.com..and from there you can choose Placid training. but i dont personally think the $ is worth it for one day. you need to go like a week or...

    In lake placid

    i used to train at Placid at the water ramps in the summer....after you do about 400 backflips you'll egt really bored and want to go home...so hopefully you're there for freerdie and not aerials.
