You should go to the Fish Creek train station. There are some pretty legendary rails there, along with quite a few drops you could hit. I suck too much to hit urban rails but that is a popular spot for sure. You won't be able to find any snow in the area though, we're kind of lacking right now...

That was a useless post. To the poster, they seem good. If you're east coast all mountain and that does not entail pow, then go with them. I don't see them being useful for pow at all however, the rocker design might be okay but they are simply too skinny for normal pow usage.

I don't see why things would be harder when the center of gravity is lower, closer to your skis etc etc, it just requires a slightly different way of doing things, that shouldn't be so difficult to figure out lol.
