what kind of pow like wide open powder bowls yes a longer ski will be much better, but if you will be skiing a lot of trees and tight areas with deep snow a shorter ski that you can turn faster will be better for you

its a nice binding with the same amount of contact points on the boot as well as a better retention setting as well as being lighter.
