i would have jumped, but we were like 60ft in the air with a flat landing. it was right before the bottom of the half pipe. i've hucked 30ft cliffs, and i still wasn't about to jump. trust me, i thought about it... alot. i had 2 hrs to think of shit to do.

although, lately, boreal has actually had some pow, and you can rip the trees for a change. still pretty fun with out the jibs... surprisingly.

anyone else stuck on the lift last night at Boreal? yeah, the chairlift quit working and we were stuck on the lift for like 2 hrs. we had to get lowered down by rope. check out my thread "stuck on a chairlift."

no, they did not forget about us, it was for like 2 hrs. a chair got jammed and the lift quit working and they had to unload like 15 or so people by pulley system. i can't image being "forgotten" about. shitty.

As of last night at Boreal, I have been lowered off of a broken, non-moving chairlift twice. We were stuck on the Accelerator lift at Boreal from about 8:30pm to 10:10. This has happened to me twice now and I am only 22. Is this more common than I think?

i'm from the midwest and moved to tahoe this season. I agree it will be fun NO MATTER WHAT. don't stress to much on your skis, and just base it around your budget.

sounds like taking a shit and popping off my toes should do it. I do over rotate alot too. My buddy did a truck driver the other day, its the first time i;ve seen one live. they tight.

if its a spring break trip, they'll probably be fine. i have powder skis and park skis, and i can rock my center-mounted 179 fujatives in powder. if you wanna drop some cash, rent something thats at least 90 underfoot. if your moving there, obviously buy some pow skis.

I am actually interested in designing parks. My life consists of skiing and working. I work at a Civil Engineering company in Reno, NV. Park designing is right up my alley. Let me know.

I can drop 5s, but occasionally i'll still backseat my 3s. Any advice?? I try to grap in front of my boot, is that the best thing to do? And for later on, any advice for corkin shit out? ...or is it basic, spin off-axis?
