    jibbing vs skiing

It really depends. If its a shity day without powder i prefer jibbing, but if there's a dump of powder i'm all about the steep and deep.

    Snowboarders, trendy posers? Opinions please

True skiing would be nowhere w/o snowboarding, so don't bash snowboards, they're awesome to ski with, i would almost rather ski with snowboarders sometimes.

    Snowboarders, trendy posers? Opinions please

Personally i love skiing with boarders, if they're are good. Snowboarders desirve respect, half the tricks skiers do come from snowboarders. Given, at least where i ski, skiers normally do go bigger, well it is easier to carry speed into a jump on skis too though. But prop to the snowboarders.

How much do rails damage skis?

Metal rails will make your edges nice and wavy, but it really doesn't effect your skiing, unless you plan on like racing the next day. And you can get them fixed at the end of the year or when ever if they get too bad.
