    pistols or publics

Go bigger, get the 169 Pistols, they are right for your weight and once you get on the peak chair or go off 7th heaven you will froget about the park. You will probably only ski the park when it's not snowing, and if you remember the last La Nina year set world records for snow accumilation at...

Nice ryan, good point. I know a lot of the K2 guys are skiing the Pistol everywhere...check out Volume 9, Pep, and Mark use them everywhere, just the shorter lengths so they can spin with less swing weight...

    pistols or publics

IF you're moving to whistler get the Pistols, Whistler kicks ass and you probably won't ski in the park as much as around the mountain once you figure your way around. Most of the super good hits are off into the BC and off natural rollers and pillow drops, the park kicks ass, but the real sick...

    ski repairs

The edge is pretty much fucked, a real good repair shop should be able to remove the dented section and inlay a new one but that is a temporary solution and will not be as durable as the factory steel...

    pistols or publics

Smuggs, I don't want to be rude but you do live in VT, You probably won't be skiing as many days in neck deep powder as you do on boiler plate. With that in mind I think you probably do not need a ski as big as the pistols, but a alot of people are using them a a primary park ski, Pep does in...

    Letter From Freeze Mag.

No shit, I've loved freeze for years but it seems like they publish there articles so a first grader can read them. It'll be great if they can fill in their pages and get some more content.

    proform

yeah, it's a fake name, go figure, I think a guy or two used it last winter at McConkeys Saucerboy race.

    Best Summer Camp?

Windells has the best terrain, coaches, and feel to it. They represent and personally, I prefer Hood to Whistler in the summer, it's super fun in Government Camp and there are tons of things to do. Whistler offers a ton and if you plan on partying in bars go to C.O.C. otherwise, Windells is great.

yeah, you're right, that kid's gay!

    proform

Abuse away, Ski companies love pro-forms because they help put influential skiers on their products and are a great way to sell through extra or overstock skis and snowboards( not PE and shit, but other lines...)

    whistler

If whistler is open they'll have a park. You can count on it!

    why is it

If I work hard year round, drive a shitty car and spend all my money on skiing I'm not sure how that makes me rich. Also if I buy two pair of skis on a proform for the same amount of money you buy one at a retail price, does that make me rich, or you a dumb ass?

    proform

Proforms are great, they break the cost to the customer and alow the ski co. to make the money back they paid to produce the ski and ship it to you. K2 does have the PE and the Pistols on the '03 form but they are down to the last 10 or less pairs in the wherehouse. They should have more...

    Crap its Summer

I hate summer, it's too damn long and hot. We need winter to come back soon!

    pistols or publics

The fujative is going to have a vertical sidewall, thicker 2.5mm edges, and a braided core. All that should make it up to par with the tougher made skis out there but if you break 'em it's your fault...K2 will replace manufacturing defects not user caused breaks...you know the difference.
  17. H

    pistols or publics

The fujative is supposed to be an afordable park specific ski. I have not been on them yet but I was in the room when K2 made the first few pair, they are soft as hell and are designed to butter in and out of rails and jumps. I think the plan is to have the PE's as all mountain boards and have...

    pistols or publics

The Fujatives are real, they are in the development stage, there are about four pair right now and K2 is working on them for a mid season release next year. I have both the PE's and Pistols, I ski the pistols just about all the time but that's because I usually am not in the park. Most of the...

    Grenade Gloves

A reprutation does not mean shit, If a company spends enough money they can create a good reputation. Those gloves suck we sold them in my shop last winter and they fall apart almost as fast as Da Kine gloves. If you want a good pair of gloves by a Hestra, Outdoor Research, or Marmot pair...

    2004 scratch/scratch fs differences??

These skis rule. The Triple Hybrid Core (THC) is great. It allows the ski to have a wood center so it skis like a regular sidewall ski but the foam in the tip and tail reduce swing weight and eat up vibrations so they have less delams....cool idea on how to make a ski.
