BB was real nice Saturday. At least, their smaller park was A LOT of fun. The bigger features were not hit by me, but one of my friends who did hit them said they were absolutely some of the worst features he has ever hit. They stuck and there're dings and chunks of metal taken out of some of...
Use the viewfinder, you have no idea how much it helps. Sitting down and using two hands if you don't have a tripod also help to stabilize your footy a whole lot.
Funny, isn't Jiminy the biggest mountain in Mass? I ride there all the time because I've got a house up in Savoy.
I ride Mountain Creek in Jersey and Camelback with the ski club at my school. Otherwise, I usually take a seasonal trip up to Vermont and ride up there for a weekend or so.
Well isn't that something? I wouldn't say it's the most active, but it's more active than some? I've been in some cults where there are 10 or 11 topics per day. I want this thing to be more active soo bad though.
Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with ordering that. I was trying to a few days ago, but I couldn't really find anywhere to get it even on the website. Anyone know where you can order it?
Yeah, as far as The Go! Team and Wolfmother being in commercials, I kind of think it was inevitable. Especially with those two bands, their songs have been EVERYWHERE.
Well, they opened today and I know at least one of you fools were there. Any park or fun shit up whatsoever? I mean, I'll be there tommorrow, but I just wanna know ahead of time.
A some of the shots were wayy overexposed and the quality just more average than what I've seen from MDP. I also kind of thought the editing really didn't really flow and the soundtrack was really lacking (I mean, c'mon, NOFX for DCP's song?). Otherwise, it's decent. I was just disappointed.
Yeah, I'll be there too. Probably for the Saturday and Sunday seshs. I just wanna shred and nothing else. Are they supposed to have the flat box and the jump like they had last year?
Burton Dominant is terrible, one of my friends snapped or popped the edges out of 5 or 6 of them last season (but continued to buy them because he's spoiled and loves their flex). However, I demoed one and thought it rode like a piece of crap too. K2 makes their boards too heavy. I've ridden 2...
Jeremy Jones is my all time favorite, but my other faves are David Benedek, Hampus, Simon Chamberlain, Lauri Heiskari (specifically for his Video Gangs part), Travis Rice, Mitch Nelson, there are simply too many to list.
Ok, I've checked Mt. Snow and they planned to open today(11/23). Anyone else know what resorts plan to be open by the weekend?
Oh yeah, is there anything decent, closer to the Massachusetts border that projects to open?
Here's mine. Just got it this past Sunday:
Rome Graft 155
Burton Cartels in Black Pinstripe
Otherwise, I'm also rocking:
Foursquare Torres Jacket in Topo
Foursquare Wong Pants in Sesame
Anon Figments in Hydro Logoville
RED Trace ('05/'06) in Black
Thirtytwo 304s
and probably an Avalon...
Sure, White's a contest machine and wins every contest because he's so used to competing and has great consistancy. I've never really thought of him as being very steezy though, he's just very clean and consistant. I respect him for winning contests, but outside of that I don't really think he...
I wasn't really down with riding helmets last season because my old Skycap was so bulky and heavy. I got a Trace though in Black and I love it. Never going back to just a regular hat since I now have so much more confidence to try shit on the hill.
