yeah, you're not supposed to take sleds into the jewel, i was just saying ppl skin up there, but most people that skin up there at least from aneas start out with sleds. and also, you can get pretty good turns from the road going up to aneas parking lot by dropping ppl off with sleds up higher.

theres people that live around the flathead that ski backcountry everyday ranging from glacier park, to the north fork, middle fork, whitefish range, mission mtns, jewel basin.... all over. as far as sleds go, the people that have them use them, ive been fortunate enough to go out several times...
