I center mounted mine (MSP 181) like four years ago. they are not made to be skied like this and it took a little getting used to,(it was my first center mount) but they totally kick ass! if you want to go a little forward that would be fine and they perform great!
179 Bent and Ep Pro are the same size, EP are a little wider and mayber a little softer, the recomended mounting point on the EP is 2cm back from true center
