Silencers are just last years PE's (possibly the year before) with cap construction so I'd go with them. Stiffer than fugatives which are far too soft in my opinion. I havent ridden silencers but I imagine them to be better.

Tignes or Les Arcs this year I'm thinking.

I heard there was a Jon movie coming out this year and someone pointed out on another thread that he isnt in any of the big movies this year, anyone know if and when its coming out?

The jumps at the indoor places are awful and small, snowflex better, the jumps stay a perfect shape all the time and as you see in the video are getting pretty big. Indoor slopes are mainly rails.

The surface has 2 inches of foam underneath it so its softer than falling onto a snow jump.

My friend BamBam rode them in the park for a while you could try PMing him. I think he found them pretty stiff and he's a big guy, not ideal.

hey Ive heard from quite a few techs that the ARV's are pretty usless this year. They are so soft, so they will work as a wide park ski i guess. Theyre just too soft to charge on apparently. I've not skied them though and its personal preference that counts. Hope you like them.

For 170 dollars just get them man. Next years arent going to be much better, theyre still going to be a cheap ski so I'd go for it and get AR6's or chronic wides next year if you can afford them for proper skiing and jibbing. The invader is a good second ski for jibbing and spring conditions.

I saw Sammy and Simon at a PBP photoshoot at the night pipe on Wednesday night and then Sammy and Pollard the next day cruising the hill. I think there is a PBP photoshoot going on in the HL park on that huge closed booter. Prob early one morning or late one afternoon on the next sunny day we have.

Sammy and Simon are filming in the park just now with PBP. They are hitting the 60ft jump, looks like it sends you so high. I'm at home injured but one of my mates is up watching them just now with a few Guiness to celebrate paddys day.

Volkl make really good skis.

Yeah I headed up with BamBam and checed it out. Didnt look like they needed any help. Watched Simon and Sammy hit both walls, it was really sweet, cork 9's all round. Excellent to see a real shoot going on.
