Someone I know is trying to transfer back to Caz from Cooperstown. I used to like her alot but since she's been going there my opinion of her has degraded significantly.

I have a 98 outback and with the back seats folded down I can fit an air mattress perfectly. If you lay it out and fill it up after it's in the car it forms to the wheel wells. Only problem is it's about 3 inches too short for me. I'm 6'1.

With VDC but it's still not the same as true 4x4. 4x4 is a 50/50 split. The closest a subaru can come to that is locked in first (Auto only) and reverse. That's with my first gen outback. I don't know if the new one have that.
