Well, considering that everyone counted them as an easy win and they managed to qualify for the second round in their first world cup, I would say that that is pretty good for an African nation that people were discounting. And they also came farther than sixteen other teams.

I never said they didn't. But my dislike of the US team doesn't just come from that. I said that I didn't like their style of play, the way they rely on strength and not technical skills. And earlier, not sure if it was this thread or not, I wrote something to the effect of how all teams dive.

    GHANA WIN=BULLSHIT

I thought the true meaning of the world cup was to bring 32 countries together and to have them battle each other for prestigious cup and lifelong glory. I also thought it serves to bring the world together as they all spectate a peaceful fight where the countries politics and power have no...

    GHANA WIN=BULLSHIT

You see it's a wonderful thing being a soccer fan in the U.S. Because the rest of the country is so ignorant about this sport, it's perfectly acceptable for anyone to root for any team they want. We can root for whatever club we want without shame or fear of becoming a pariah. But if you do go...

    Who has torn their ACL?

That's exactly what I thought when I tore my ACL. I was in the clinic and they told me to walk and four steps later I collapsed after my knee gave out. So don't count out tearing anything, cause that's what I did, and it was quite a shock when the doc told me I tore my ACL and meniscus.

They probably won't. But if they play their top game and Brazil keeps on playing like they have been, I think that Ghana could have a chance at an upset. I don't think that Brazil will take the game seriously, and that could be a major advantage for Ghana.

But, I wasn't refering to today's game when I said I didn't like how the US plays. I've seen them play a number of times, and my mind was made up from that. And I don't applaud all of the diving that Ghana did today. I like other qualities of their play. And those qualities are why I like Ghana.

    GHANA WIN=BULLSHIT

Yea, the refs were awful. They made one poor call after another. But not everything can be blamed on the refs. Where was the United States? They were sleepwalking until the 60th minute, when Johnson was put in. And after that they didn't step up. Yea you can blame this shit on the refs all you...

Well, I think that they are just pretty stoked on being the underdog that defeated the Czech Republic who FIFA ranked number two and just now beating the US. This is their first time ever in the World Cup and noone thought that they would come this far. I would even venture as far to say that...

Well, one reason is I admire the way Ghana plays. Real quick, fast feet and their ability to create oppurtunities and counterattack. Two, I am a fan of Micheal Essien. Even though I don't like Chelsea as a club, I love watching him play for them. He is such a good player and I want to see him...

hey i think the ref is shitty and i'm not going to argue with you on what a terrible call that was. but i'm not complaining about it because it's in favor of the team i'm rooting for. i mean if the call was the reverse you probably wouldn't be complaining either.

ghana is playign a pretty good game so far. and that penalty kick hasn't been the only bull shit call so far. i.e. the two yellow cards on ghana. those calls weren't even fouls nevermind being bad enough to warrant yellow cards. so when you complain about the ref sucking it goes both ways. and...

    An Inconvient Truth

we might not be te initial cause, but we sure as hell are exacerbating the situation. and all i think his movie is trying to do is scare some sense in a society that is based off of comsumption and hardly worries about the consequences of the stuff they do everyday. and considering the current...

i was really hoping for an english win since both teams are already in the second round. and england had to go and disappoint with a defensive breakdown. at least it wasn't a loss.
