did you have them heated in the store? that usually solves all toe box problems, plus you'll never get the precision of a Lange from any other boot...

in addition to the metal layer in the thick part of the springblade did you notice the inserts in the base under the boot for better durability in the park? as far as bindings ripping out of TMs ithink if you rae scratches or K2s that may be an issue(especially if you ride pivots) and TMs are wood

the flex index number on Langes indicates that a 120=120 and 80=80 in any given flex range a FR120 and a Comp 120 are as stiff as each other but the FR boot is made with a more lastic material that doesn't force you right back upright when you flex the boot like the blue race boots do the same...

be aware that some paints/treatments can damage/soften plastic(even stuff made for plastic) and of course your warranty will be done....

if you have a vertical sidewall ski that has a chipping topsheet(or before you ski them) take a file or 60 grit sandpaper wrapped around a block of wood ad bevel the topsheet where it meets the sidewall so it is rounded a little. this should/will stop the chipping
