i live in los angeles, and although i broke down and got a mammoth season pass this year, i ski big bear a lot. its massively snowboarder-dominated, which is in keeping with socals surf and skate scene. lots of rails lots of sun and cold nights = rock hard snow at 9 am, then good from 10a-noon...

i dont reckon that trampoline trick was a flatspin. maybe it looks different on skis because the lip puts you at an angle more backseat but when i flatspin its more of an off axis backflip, imagine sticking a pin through your stomach and rotating around that center point.
