depends on what part of DC. I make it to big boulder in 2 hours and DC in 2 hours, baltimore in one hour. 4 hours tops. I would check out whitetail and wisp since they are in the 2-3 hour range of you.

I was surprised to see Ski Racing Magazine annual gear guide sample twin tips. Even the editorial in first part announced that they were going to depart from the normal and show what racers were using on the rest of the mountain. or something along those lines....

Best advice! Get him new boots every year and sell last years stuff at ski swaps. Most of my kids stuff resold often paid for new stuff each year. If you don't know already learn to ski switch, clamp the tips together and play "catch me" they will instinctively learn to turn much better when...

I would like to see regionals also be able to drill down to resorts and maybe the associated open cults? This is probably way too over the top and complicated but if worked like google earth, maybe it would work quicker? I don't know.
