id try and arrange accomadation BEFORE u got here if you can but thats easier said that done but definitely less frustrating than trying to find accomdation at the same time as every other tom dick harry and aussie who didnt get the job with the mountain they were expecting to get.

thats harsh man.... ^^ to answer ur question. yes, its called being a mountain host and they usually hire people who've lived for a while and know the mountain really well.. (ie long time locals). There are other volunteer jobs that require once a week as well for a free pass. like working...

no to both ur conclusions... whistler is already the busier mountain. it'll just aleviate traffic on harmony while not opening up any new terrain. and after whistler gets tracked to crap ppl are going to head to blackcomb to catch some of the freshies there.

this only really cuts out the flute hike/out not the hike up so doesnt cut out much, it just makes flute that much more visible to the public which i suppose for the mtn is a nice thing. on nice days it'll definitely increase traffic on flute and now piccolo will be tracked as well not that its...

theres this wicked run... it runs underneath the top of solar... if u get up early and get first cords down it... its AMAZING! first cords... makes me want to scream just thinking of it. the name has something to do with diving...

maybe add "facies mate" and "freshies" to that..

theres like 3 companies that run courses out of whistler... and they're all certified yada... been meaning to take one this year myself. should get on that. Russet Lake is behind whistler.. u go over flute, then oboe then up cowboy ridge... then ur at the lake. theres a hut there for sleeping...
