The Videos that the Ski Pole industry does not want you to see...

I don't really care about this arguement, but I found this funny: "skiing without poles is like getting a blow job from a guy, it's feels great until you look down and realize you're gay." - matt3668 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uef31X3QGSQ)

I might do a post in the blog about urban rails and stuff like that. Even though NYC does not get a lot of snow, when it does, it is usually enough to hit some nice urban stuff. Thanks for the suggestion.

The New Yorker: A Blog About New York City and its Freestyle Communit

Yes, I did go to the Poorboyz premier in NYC and it was a lot of fun. Many people were surprised that Poorboyz would even go to NYC and that it would be such a fun party. My blog is really meant to break through the idea that NYC is not the home to freeskiers. Also, if anyone from NYC reads...

Thanks for the reply. To be able to have good skiing or even ski at all and live in New York City, you have to either travel upstate to okay ski resorts or go during vacations.

Saga Outerwear does not say if there are shops that carry their products in Japan, but their is a page on their website that talks about Sage International, so I am guessing that there will be soon.

The New Yorker: A Blog About New York City and its Freestyle Communit

I have decided to start a blog on my beloved city, New York. When many people hear New York City, they think Wall Street, Madison Avenue, the Statue of Liberty, 9/11, etc., but many people fail to see that NYC does have a small, but growing freeskiing community. This blog is going to be more...

Where to find accurate historical snowfall numbers...

I am planning a trip to Japan this winter and I have pretty much fully planned out my trip except for which ski resort I am going to go to. (My thread on this: https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/358887/). The main areas of Japan I am looking at are Nagano (i.e., Hakuba 47...

Got $30m to spare? Buy Snow Park!

Don't forget upkeep. That would be very expensive and I don't think people on NS would be will to pay for it because not all of NS lives by Snowpark. I don't doubt that it would be fun to have a NS resort, but one would need to still keep it open to the public to have some form of revenue...
