    Urban punx size

unfortunately the next size down in the punx is a 173 which is too short for you especially with a symmetrical ski. You'll get used to it. The extra length gives you more stability and the confidence to go big.

    Canadian Ski Equipment Prices

still cheaper than the UK. Tax depends on state. In canada (nationwide) there is GST (i think,Im not canadian, but spent some time there) which is 6-7% and some states add pst (provincial sales tax) which is another 6-7%. Basically if your in whistler (BC) you add 13% tax (PST+GST) and if your...

Those white mats almost like the ones u brush your shoes on before u go inside.

its called dendix and there is another material called snowflex. Dendix hurts like hell to land on hard, snowflex has more shock absorption.

So yeah, I need a place for the season in Whistler. Everywhere in the pique seems to be $800+ . Help! Does anyone own the Head Mojo XP boots? ++Karma

if you do work at a shop try every boot on you have and speak to whoever sells the boots. Dont get too hung up on the term freeski boots either as alot of these boots are based on other boots from the manufacturer, just softer, diff liner, colour For instance try on a Head Raptor 120, it fits...

    Kaos VS Foil

it depends.Have you skied more than 50 days in them? How worn is the toe and heel (sole area)? do they feel sloppy? do you have alot more movement in your boot than you used to? Do you get pressure points? Do you get alot of shin bang? And lastly do you have the money to spend on new boots?

    Ski bags

Hey . Check the reviews section I think Schmuck wrote a review of the armada bag which sounds sweet. I have a Dakine Fall line from a couple of years ago and its been pretty sweet, glad they beefed up the wheels on them though. And a roller bag is definately the only way to go.

Help! Does anyone own the Head Mojo XP boots? ++Karma

Its a 98mm shell (exactly the same shape as their 120 flex race boot) quite narrow, stubby toe box. The only thing I dont like about these boots is the fact they are huge around the calf. So if you have chicken legs youll be cranking them straight away. Its a medium to high volume over the...

Anyone else think its fucked up that Pollard doesnt ride his own Bacons?

Id rather see footage of Schuster or Ike tearing it up on the REAL BACON. Dont get me wrong I thin Pollard is the man, a true innovator in todays skiing world, but this video misrepresents the product in question. Pretty weak........

    Kaos VS Foil

the spk is wider through the toe area, has a shock absorber behind your calf, around your toes and in the heel. spk is lighter, 2 buckles rather than four and has a lace up liner. Best way to find out is to go try some on. SPK is a better park boot expecially if you get alot of shin bang. Check...

What size disorderly should i get?

get the 179. a 175ish would be ideal though. Since its symmetrical and Im assuming your centre mounting 179 is not a big ski nor does it feel big when you're skiing it.. 169 will feel very stittish and unstable which doesnt inspire confidence.

    SFB's vs ARV's

I have the 179 obsethed and skied it all summer in NZ were conditions vary from very firm to half a foot of pow. A great all mountain ski, not too great switch though cos of the directional sidecut. I am 30lbs less than you.I think the 189 is a much bigger ski, stiffer, beefier sidewall and you...
